The makers of Kiran Abbaravam’s upcoming film Dilruba released the new single of their film, titled ‘Kanna Nee,’ on Friday. Dilruba, slated to release on March 14, also stars Ruksar Dhillon and Nazia Davison.

Composed by Sam CS, ‘Kanna Nee’ is an intense yet melancholic composition, with a strong element of classical-styled vocals. Satyaprakash and Malavika Sunder are the playback singers, while lyrics are by Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar. ‘Kanna Nee’ is especially composed as an extended version of the BGM that was part of Dilruba’s official teaser.

The makers had released only one single earlier — ‘Aggipulle’ — which garnered over two million YouTube hits. Sam CS was also the composer for Kiran’s previous film KA, which emerged as a surprise hit.

Written and directed by Viswa Karun, Dilruba promises to be an intense love story, revolving around an emotionally volatile young man (played by Kiran). The film is produced by Ravi, Jojo Jose, Rakesh Reddy, and Saregama Studios. On the technical front, Viswas Daniel and Praveen KL helm cinematography and editing respectively.

Upon its release, Dilruba will clash at the boxoffice against Priyadarshi-starrer Court - State vs A Nobody.
