Naresh Agastya, who was last seen in Vikkatakavi, will soon be seen headlining the romantic drama Meghalu Cheppina Prema Katha, alongwith debutant Rabiya Khatoon. On Saturday, the makers released the first single ‘Sound of Love’ of their film, for which Justin Prabhakaran has composed the soundtrack.

Penned by Rehman, ‘Sound of Love’ is a mesmerising love song, swooning the listeners with its blend of minimalistic, experimental arrangement and old-school melody rooted in Indian classical. The song’s melody is accentuated by the sweet voices of SP Charan and National award winning Shashaa Tirupati, and with incorporation of nature sounds in the interludes.

Meghalu Cheppina Prema Katha is produced by Uma Devi Kota, who is also one of the co-writers for the film, in association with director Vipin and Ravindre Pulle. The supporting cast of the film includes Radhika Sarathkumar, Suman, Aamani, Tulasi, Tanikella Bharani, Venkatesh Kakumanu, and Harsha Vardhan among others.

The film’s technical crew additionally boasts of prominent names like Thota Tharani helming the production design and Marthand K Venkatesh as the editor. Mohana Krishna is the cinematographer.

The second teaser of the film was released a few days ago. The makers are yet to announce a release date.
