Dhanush starrer Kuberaa is gearing up for a worldwide release on June 20. The first pre-release event for the movie in Hyderabad was initially scheduled for June 13, before being postponed in the wake of Air India flight AI171 that occurred on Thursday. The said event will now take place on Sunday, June 15, the team announced on Friday.

Directed by Sekhar Kammula, Kuberaa promises to be a political thriller ripe with social commentary about class divide. The film also stars Nagarjuna, Jim Sarbh and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead cast.

Devi Sri Prasad is composing music for the film, marking his first collaboration with Sekhar Kammula. The film’s audio launch ceremony was held in Chennai on June 1.

Kuberaa marks Sekhar’s return to direction after 4 years — he last directed the Naga Chaitanya-Sai Pallavi starrer Love Story. Produced by Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations, Kuberaa will released in Telugu and Tamil, with dubbed versions in Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
