Devi Sri Prasad, who is composing music for the upcoming bilingual movie Junior, was present for the launch of the film’s first single, titled ‘Let’s Live This Moment.’ The upcoming family entertainer, starring Sreeleela, Genelia D’Souza and Ravichandran V, is mounted as the launch vehicle for Kireeti Reddy, son of politician and industrialist Gali Janardhan Reddy. On the occasion, Devi Sri Prasad gave a heartfelt speech about his working experience on Junior, why lyricists deserve more recognition and more.

Devi Sri Prasad, who also sung the newly released single, stated, “The films that give me very big name since the beginning of my career have been love stories and emotional films, films where the films, the dialogue stay with you forever.”

The composer also took a moment to acknowledge the contribution of lyricist Shreemani, adding, “The depth of a lyrics is very essential in success of a song. What I have observed at most audio events is that the lyricist is either the first one to be called on stage or the first one to be forgotten, which is very sad. So I always ensure to give first seat on the stage to the lyricist. Lyrics become the face of a song, the address of a song.”

The renowned composer also spoke about the association between Karnataka and Telugu-speaking states. He added, “Kannada and Telugu have a great connection. Almost all Kannada people can understand Telugu, and vice-versa. Infact, I am mesmerised by Ravichandran sir’s Telugu. He should dub for the Telugu version as well.”
