The makers of Kiran Abbavaram starrer Dilruba released their first single on Saturday. Sam CS, who had also composed music for Kiran’s previous film KA, is the music director for Dilruba.

Rendered by Anurag Kulkarni, ‘Aggipulle’ is an eclectic romantic composition, with an interesting blend of classical instrumentation and a peppy beat. The music video, focusing on the protagonist’s relentless efforts to persuade his love interest (Rukhsar Dhillon) to reciprocate his feelings, also features Kiran Abbavaram performing some impressive dance moves. Jithu Master has choreographed the song, and Bhaskar Bhatla has penned the lyrics.

The first teaser of the film was released earlier this month. Written and directed by debutant Viswa Karun, Dilruba promises to tell the story of a heartbroken lover who copes with his heartbreak in a rather intense and self-destructive manner. Viswa Karun has previously worked as a dialogue writer on films like Iddari Lokam Okate (2019) and Shikaaru (2022).

Jointly produced by Yoodle Film and Sivam Celluloids, with Jojo jose, Rakesh Reddy, and Ravi serving as the producers, Dilruba is set for a theatrical release on February 14, where it clashes against Vishwak Sen starrer Laila at the box office.
