The makers of Hey Chikittha had officially unveiled the title of their film a few days ago, with eminent personalities like Sai Rajesh and Anasuya Bhardwaj sharing the title poster on their social media pages, and Ajay Bhupathi launching the poster at a small ceremony. On Tuesday, the team commenced the shoot at Jagtial, a small town in Telangana.

Hey Chikittha is written and directed by Dhanraj Lekkala, and produced by N Ashoka RNS and cinematographer-director ‘Garudavega’ Anji under the banners of Amravati Movie Makers and Sundarakanda Motion Pictures. The film promises to capture the struggle-filled lives of rural farmers, and the challenges they face in their attempt to live a life of dignity. 

While Abhinav Manikanta, Divija Prabhakar, Ashok Vardhan, and Tanmai will be seen in leading roles, the ensemble cast of Hey Chikittha includes Sai Nayudu, Sai Kaushik, Prudhvi Raj, Prabakar, Balagam Sujatha, and Veera Shankar among others. In the technical team, Anji helms the cinematography and Balagaam Madhu is in charge of editing. Charan Arjun is composing the music. 

Divija Prabhakar was recently seen in the comedy drama Brahma Anandam, where she played a small role.
