The teaser for Badmashulu, written and directed by Shankar Cheguri, was released on Wednesday. The film stars Mahesh Chintala, Vidyasagar Karampuri, and Muralidhar Goud in key roles.

The teaser of Badmashulu introduces the characters of Mahesh Chintala and Vidyasagar Karampuri as two middle-aged, carefree friends who frequently cause trouble in their village. Their mischief leads to chaos, with a police constable, played by Muralidhar Goud, attempting to keep them in check. The comedy appears to be rooted in the rural Telangana setting, with humour emerging naturally from the characters and their actions. The teaser promises a fun rural indie.

The film also hilariously features broken English spellings, written in the language of the characters like "Teasir, Navvu, Stats..." The move is attention grabbing and takes one to the world of the comical characters.

Produced by B Balakrishna and C Rama Shankar under the Tara Story Tellers banner, Badmashulu has cinematography by Vineeth Pabbati and editing by Gajjala Rakshit Kumar. The music is composed by Teja Koonoor.

The makers of Badmashulu are yet to announce a release date.
