Dhanraj Koranani’s directorial debut Ramam Raghavam was earlier slated to release on February 28. However, the makers of the film have now decided to advance their film’s release by a week to February 21.
Starring Samuthirakani in the lead role, Ramam Raghavam revolves around a bittersweet father-son relationship, where Dhanraj himself plays the son’s role. The first teaser of the film was released in September last year. Reportedly, the makers are planning to release the trailer on February 14. Billed as a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, Ramam Raghavam features actors like Sunil, Harish Uthaman, Pruthviraj, Satya, Mokksha Sengupta, Pramodini, and Srinivas Reddy in the supporting cast. Dhanraj is also the screenplay and dialogue writer for his directorial debut.
Produced by Prudhvi Polavarapu under the Slate Pencil banner, Ramam Raghavam has music by Arun Chiluvera and cinematography by Durga Prasad. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor.
Dhanraj was recently seen in the Allari Naresh starrer Bachhala Malli. Samuthirakani, meanwhile, played a prominent role in Oka Pathakam Prakaaram, which was released yesterday. The veteran actor was also recently seen in the Ram Charan starrer Game Changer.
It is to be noted that the release date for Sundeep Kishan-Ritu Varma starrer Mazaka was recently pushed to February 26.
