Dulquer Salmaan, who created a strong impression among Telugu audiences with films such as Mahanati, Sita Ramam, and Lucky Baskhar, has officially launched his next project, Aakasam Lo Oka Tara. The film was announced last year on his birthday and was formally launched in Hyderabad on Sunday. Directed by Pavan Sadineni, Aakasam Lo Oka Tara’s concept poster was released some time ago. The film’s production will begin soon.

Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam are producing Aakasam Lo Oka Tara, while Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinema are presenting it. The makers have described it as a unique attempt, though further details are yet to be revealed. The film is scheduled for a pan-India release next year.

Pavan Sadineni’s last outing was Senapathi (2021), a direct-to-OTT thriller featuring Naresh Agastya and Rajendra Prasad, which received acclaim. Dulquer Salmaan, meanwhile, was last seen in the financial thriller Lucky Baskhar (2024), which performed well at the box office.
