Sujeeth, who recently directed Pawan Kalyan in They Call Him OG, his comeback vehicle after a 2-year hiatus, shared an update about a generous gesture from Pawan Kalyan where the actor-politician gifted a Land Rover Defender to the OG director.

Taking to his Instagram page, Sujeeth shared a few photos of the meet. He added the caption, “Best gift ever. Overwhelmed and grateful beyond words. The love and encouragement from my dearest OG, Kalyan garu, means everything to me. From being a childhood fan to this special moment. Forever indebted.”

Produced under the banner of DVV Entertainment, OG revolved around former gangster Ojas Gambheera who, after vanishing from Mumbai's underworld for a decade, resurfaces seeking vengeance against rival crime lords.

Also starring Emraan Hashmi in his Telugu debut, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy and Priyanka Mohan in prominent roles, OG was released in theatres on September 25 to mixed reviews from audiences and critics. The actioner has been streaming on Netflix since October 23. In its theatrical run, the film is estimated to have collected Rs 200 crore across India.

Our CE review of the film read, "OG is a giant balloon inflated for three years finally escaping the hype factory, not with a bang, but with a slow, embarrassingly long sigh. A spectacle that kept promising blood and thunder, but leaves you in the theatre like Gambheera himself, lips twitching, staring into the void waiting for that Firestorm that is never arriving!"

They Call Him OG marked Pawan Kalyan’s first collaborated with Sujeeth, who had previously directed Run Raja Run and Saaho. Sujeeth is next working with Nani on an action-comedy, while Pawan Kalyan has another big release coming up next year with Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
