Earlier we had reported about the launch of production banner Whats Next Entertainment with a youth-centric entertainer starring Anaswara Rajan as the female lead. In the last few days, the team slowly revealed many of its primary cast and crew members, including director Mahesh Uppala and producer Venky Kudumula. On Sunday, the makers finally revealed their debutant male lead as well as the film’s title.

Aniesh plays a unique superhero in the film titled Itllu Arjuna. The new teaser has a voiceover by Nagarjuna, that establishes our protagonist Arjuna who is speech-impaired, but also gifted in other mysterious ways. The teaser also establishes the love story that’s at the crux of the narrative, also establishing Anaswara Rajan’s character as the beloved. The teaser ends.

By the looks of it, Itllu Arjuna promises to be a peppy yet heartwarming love story with a solid dose of action, and a superhero element.  Other leading crew members include Thaman S as the music director and Raja Mahadevan as the cinematographer. In a separate social media post, Thaman also shared that he has lent his vocals to a song after a long time.

Writer-filmmaker Manasa Sharma, who previously wrote for Mahesh Uppala’s web series Oka Chinna Family Story, has been credited with additional screenplay here. Other key technicians include Koti K as the editor, Dinesh Subbarayan as the stunt designer, and Ram Kumar A as the production designer. P Rajini has designed costumes.

Meanwhile, Anaswara’s Telugu debut Champion, directed by another debutant Pradeep Advaitham, is slated for a theatrical release on December 25.
