Rajasekhar sustains serious injury on sets; undergoes major surgery

The veteran actor has three films in the pipeline, including the upcoming Sharwanand starrer Biker

Rajasekhar, who will soon be seen in Sharwanand-starrer Biker, recently sustained a serious leg injury during the shoot for another of his upcoming films. 

The incident took place a few days ago, when Rajasekhar was shooting an action sequence in Medchal for a film. The incident resulted in multiple fractures in his ankle. According to unit sources, the actor suffered a right ankle bimalleolar dislocation with a compound fracture, a severe injury typically associated with high-impact trauma. 

Rajasekhar subsequently underwent a major surgery lasting nearly three hours. The actor is currently in recovery, and the doctors have advised a strict rest of 3-4 weeks for the actor. Consequently, Rajasekhar will stay away from film shoots for some time. The veteran actor is expected to resume work in January 2026 at the earliest, which too remains subject to his recovery progress.

It is to be noted that the actor had returneed to acting in movie after a brief hiatus due to health issues. He was last seen in the 2023 film Extra Ordinary Man, which starring Nithiin and Sreeleela in the lead.
