

Actor Vishal, who is currently busy filming for Sundar C's Purushan, has recently indulged in charitable activities to help the elderly. The actor, who is currently on set at the Santhome Kalpana House, has been arranging meals for the elderly at the Kaakkum Karangal old-age home nearby for nearly a week now. He has also taken efforts to ensure that the regular delivery of meals continues hereafter.
On Monday, Vishal also met Boman Irani on the sets of Purushan. Sharing photos of the same he wrote, “Happened to meet the most versatile actor in indian film industry and one of my favourite on screen performer, our very own jewel, the wonderful Boman Irani. It was a pleasant surprise to hav him on the sets of Purushan. Heard about his screenwriting workshops that he conducts for free. Looking forward to attend one of his sessions.” (sic)
Vishal has reunited with Sundar C and Hip Hop Tamizha after 2015's Aambala. The film also stars Tamannaah and Yogi Babu. Purushan marks Tamannaah's third collaboration (Action and Aranmanai 4) and Vishal’s fourth (Aambala, Action and Madha Gaja Raja) with Sundar C.
The film is expected to be an action-comedy film, in which a docile husband hides his violent side from his wife. Sundar C is directing the film with a screenplay and dialogues from his frequent collaborator Venkatt Ragavan.
ACS Arun Kumar of the Benzz Media banner and Khushbu Sundar under the Avni Cinemax banner are producing the film. In addition to Adhi, the rest of the crew of Purushan includes cinematographer Gopi Amarnath and editor Roger.
Meanwhile, the actor also has Magudam, which also marks his directorial debut. Ravi Arasu was initially the director for Magudamand later stepped away due to unknown reasons. He is now credited with the story for the film. Set to hit theatres this year, the film also features Dushara Vijayan, Anjali, and Yogi Babu. In the pipeline, Vishal also has Thupparivalan 2, which is also set to be helmed by him.
