Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Anil Ravipudi are teaming up for the first time for their upcoming film Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu. One of the most exciting aspects of the film is the inclusion of senior actor Venkatesh in a key role. While early reports suggested he would be seen in a short cameo or an extended guest appearance, Anil Ravipudi has now provided clarity.

“Venkatesh will be on screen for nearly 20 minutes. He appears in the climax, and the combination of these two actors will be absolute madness,” Anil said in an interview with Prema.

The Sankranthiki Vasthunam director credited Chiranjeevi for the idea of including Venkatesh in the narrative. “Chiranjeevi garu suggested adding a fun element to the story, and I agreed and wrote it in. That’s how Venkatesh garu came on board. Audiences will witness the madness of Venky and Chiranjeevi together in the climax,” Anil said.

He added that watching two generations of star actors share the screen will be a feast for fans. “In this generation, I’m lucky to have the opportunity to present both of them in one frame. Initially, I was a bit nervous about how they would gel, but they synced perfectly. It’s a magical moment,” he shared.

Nayanthara plays the female lead, while Sahu Garapati and Sushmitha Konidela are jointly producing the film. Two songs from the movie were released recently and have already gone viral on social media.

The film is slated for a Sankranthi release, and the makers are expected to announce the exact date soon. Currently, the shoot is progressing in Hyderabad, and Anil Ravipudi is confident they will complete filming well ahead of schedule to allow ample time for promotions.
