Following the enormous success of their first single ‘Meesala Pilla,’ the makers of Chiranjeevi-Nayanthara starrer Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu released the second single of their film, titled ‘Sasirekha’ on Sunday.

Composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, ‘Sasirekha’ is an interesting composition. After beginning on a sweet, melodious note, the number takes a drastic turn with groovy dance beats, before making space for a ‘Meesala Pilla’ like rustic beats-driven antara. Anantha Sriram has written the playful number, while Bheems himself has worked as the male playback singer, sharing singing credits with Madhupriya.

Choreographed by Bhanu Master, the ‘Sasirekha’ song video is shot at multiple locations, and possibly captures the ‘falling-in-love’ chapter between the two protagonists before they get married and all hell breaks loose.

Recently, the MSG makers also shot a grand song sequence with Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh, marking their first on-screen collaboration ever.  The song is expected to be released in coming few weeks.  Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the comedy-entertainer also features VTV Ganesh and Catherine Tresa in ensemble cast. Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainment serve as the production banners.

Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is set to release on Sankranthi 2026, clashing against many biggies like The Raja Saab, Anaganaga Oka Raju, Nari Nari Naduma Murari and Ravi Teja’s BMW.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi has another major release next year, with the much-delayed Viswambhara
