The official trailer of Mowgli was unveiled on Tuesday morning. Roshan Kanakala and Sakkshi Mhadolkar play the lead roles in the upcoming action-romance that’s directed by Sandeep Raj.

The newly released trailer gives a more detailed look into the universe and its characters — debutant Saksshi plays Jasmine, a nonspeaking background dancer while Roshan plays Mowgli, a crew member who falls in love with her and slowly reaches a position where he must protect her against all evil forces on the sets, including the powerful star who tries to take advantage of her. However, it’s only later that the bigger evil force enters the picture, in the form of SI Nolan (Bandi Saroj Kumar).

Mowgli, at its heart, promises to be an intense love story where the protagonist might rise against all barriers to save his beloved.  

Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory banner, Mowgli also features Harsha Chemudu in a prominent role.  Kaala Bhairava has composed music for the film. The film has cinematography by Rama Maruthi M, and editing by Peekay. Kiran Mamidi is the art director, and Natraj Madigonda has designed action sequences.

Co-written by Rama Maruthi M and Radhakrishna Reddy, Mowgli is set to arrive in theatres on December 12.
