The makers of The Raja Saab marked actor Nidhhi Agerwal’s birthday on Sunday by unveiling a special poster featuring her look as a nun from the film. The poster shows Agerwal in a serene moment, lighting candles in prayer.
Sharing the poster on social media, the team wrote: “Her role is set to bring grace, warmth and depth to this king-size tale.” The film, directed by Maruthi, features Prabhas in a dual role and recently got its teaser.
The Raja Saab brings together a large ensemble cast including Malavika Mohanan, who makes her Telugu debut, along with Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Zarina Wahab, and several well-known comedians such as Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore and Yogi Babu. Reports suggest Dutt plays Prabhas’s grandfather in the story.
The Raja Saab is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, with music by S Thaman and cinematography by Karthik Palani. The producers have been facing a case in the Delhi High Court by co-producers Ivy Entertainment over alleged contractual breaches.
Billed as a horror-comedy with commercial scale, The Raja Saab is positioned as a major release in Prabhas’s line-up, alongside Hanu Raghavapudi’s untitled film, Spirit and Salaar 2. For Agerwal, who was last seen in Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, the film adds another high-profile project to her growing career.
