Nidhhi Agerwal, who appeared in Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, came under the scanner when she was recently spotted traveling in a Government vehicle in Bhimaravam while she was gracing a store launch event. Many cinephiles and Telugu film fans made the conclusion that the actor got the privilege for starring in a Pawan Kalyan film, as Pawan is also the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
However Nidhhi took to social media to issue a clarification on the row. “During the event, the local organisers arranged transporation for me. I wish to clearly state that I had no role in choosing or requesting this vehicle. It as solely provided by the event organisers for logistical purposes,” Nidhii wrote in a statement.
She also added “The use of the vehicle had nothing to do with any government official.” The actor concluded that many reports online were “wrongly suggesting” that the vehicle was sent to her by the government.
Nidhhi played the role of Panchami in Hari Hara Veera Mallu, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyothi Krisna. She is also awaiting the release of Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab, where she plays one of the leads alongside Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar.
