Nidhhi Agerwal marked her birthday on Sunday with the announcement of a new project under Jyothi Creations, their maiden venture into film production.
The production house confirmed that Agerwal will play the lead in the untitled film, which is written and directed by debutant filmmaker Nikhil Kartheek while Puppala Appala Raju is producing the project, which the makers describe as a female-centric story. The film’s title will be unveiled during the Dussehra festival.
Announcing the project on social media, the team shared a cryptic caption: “Her eyes hold secrets, her presence brings chills, but the face remains unseen! This Dasara, darkness gets a name, it’s all about celebrating birthday of our leading lady in Production No.1.”
Nidhhi Agerwal, who has appeared in nine films so far across Telugu, Tamil and Hindi cinema, is currently among the busiest young actors in the industry. She was last seen opposite Pawan Kalyan in Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which did not perform as expected at the box office. The film is now slated for a digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video. She is awaiting the release of her next, Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab, which is aiming for a Sankranthi 2026 release.
