After a 20-month gap post his humungous box office hit HanuMan, Teja Sajja is finally coming with his next release, Mirai. The film, billed as an fantasy-adventure drama film, will feature Teja as a ‘Super Yodha.’ On Thursday, the Mirai makers shared a major update about their film, which is planned as a pan-India release.

Dharma Production has now come onboard for Mirai, as the distributor for the Hindi belt market. Announcing the collaboration, Teja Sajja penned on his X page, “It’s an honour to collaborate with Karan Johar sir and the legendary Dharma Movies for Mirai. See you all in cinemas from September 5th, 2025 as the Super Yodha.” It is to be noted that Dharma Productions has distributed Hindi versions of many popular Telugu films in the past years, like the Baahubali franchise, The Ghazi Attack and Devara: Part 1.

Mirai is directed by Karthik Gattamneni, and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory banner. The film also stars Manchu Manoj as Black Sword, the destructive antagonist, and Ritika Nayak as the female lead. The supporting cast includes Shriya Saran, Jayaram, and Jagapathi Babu.

The first teaser of the film was unveiled in May. A few days ago, the makers gave a new boost to their promotions with the launch of their first single ‘Vibe Undi.’ Gowra Hari has composed music for the film. Besides helming direction, Karthik is also the cinematographer for his film.

Blends ancient mythology with modern visual effects, Mirai promises to place Teja Sajja back in the superhero space following HanuMan. The film is slated for release on in 2D and 3D formats across eight Indian and international languages.
