On the occasion, popular composer Thaman S shared a lesser-known anecdote about his association with Athadu and Mahesh Babu.

Thaman further described the experience as “great learning days,” adding, “It was a such an craziest experience all through.” Thaman also called Athadu his most favourite collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Trivikram.

Incidentally, the makers of Athadu have also re-released the film across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the occasion, and the film has already grossed over 2 crores in advances on Saturday. Also starring Trisha Krishnan and Prakash Raj in major roles, Athadu remains one of the biggest hits of Mahesh Babu, and has since acquired a cult status for its stylistic choices and technological innovations.
