The makers of Gopi Galla Goa Trip unveiled the film’s trippy teaser on Friday. The teaser showcases two youngsters, both named Gopi, on their first trip to Goa in chase of white women. There’s a trippy road movie vibe in the film with enchanting music by Ravi Nidamarthy. The buddy comedy marks the return of Rohit and Sai, the makers of Double Engine (2023). 

Rohit and Sasi, also called Avanti Cinema, have operated in the indie Telugu cinema space for 13 years and released many independent films and series like Sheesh Mahal, Nirudyoga Natulu, Story Discussion, and Pickpocket, among others. They have been notoriously reputed for making improvisational films and exploring avant garde cinema. Their filmmaking has been minimalistic, low-budget, and inventive. Their previous release, Double Engine, received critical acclaim and was appreciated as a unique experience.

Gopi Galla Goa Trip stars Ajith Mohan, Raju Shivarathri, Camp Sasi, Sai Kumar, Pawon Ramesh, Monika Busam, and others.

Gopi Galla Goa Trip is produced by Sai Kumar, Sita Ramaraju, Ramana Reddy and Avanti Cinema. Shashank Raghavula cranked the camera, and Avanti Ruya took over the edit. This comedy drama is said to be a sync-sound film, one of the few made in Telugu cinema. The film is coming to the theatres soon.
