Vennela Kishore will soon be seen playing the titular protagonist in the comedy Sreekakulam Sherlockholmes. On Monday, the makers announced December 25 as the release date for their film.

Written and directed by Writer Mohan, Sreekakulam Sherlockholmes also stars Ananya Nagalla and Ravi Teja Mahadasyam in significant roles. The film’s supporting cast includes Siya Gowtam and Muralidhar Goud, among others.

The film is produced by Vennapusa Ramana Reddy under the banner Sri Ganapathi Cinemas. Sunil Kashyap is the music director for the film. The makers have already released two singles from their film, titled ‘Maa Ooru Srikakulam’ and ‘Preminchane Pilla.’ On the technical front, Mallikarjun Naragani is the cinematographer and Avinash Gurlinka is the editor. 

Set for a Christmas release, the Vennela Kishore starrer will clash against Allari Naresh’s Bachchala Malli which too is slated to release on December 25. Eminent distributor Vamsi Nandipati will release the film nationwide. 

Vennela Kishore’s other recent releases include Dhoom Dhaam, Janaka Aithe Ganaka, and Viswam.
