A new single ‘Boom Boom’ from Manamey was released on Thursday. Manamey is a relationship drama directed by Sriram Adittya and stars Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty in lead roles which is slated for a theatrical release on June 7.

Composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, ‘Boom Boom’ is a groovy dance number with a club song-like vibe to it. Billed as ‘party song of the year,’ the catchy number is penned by Bhaskarabhatla and sung by Hemachandra. The ‘Boom Boom’ song video features Sharwanand and Seerat Kapoor living it up at a neon-lit party.

At a recent press event, the film’s female lead, Krithi Shetty, spoke about composer Hesham Abdul Wahab’s contribution to the film. She stated, ‘Hesham Gaaru’s music is the soul of the film. A lot of people asked me how the film would manage to make space for 16 songs without getting boring. However, while watching the movie, I realised the story and music go so well together, hand in hand. Hesham Gaaru really killed it with this one.”

Manamey is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory. Besides Sharwanand and Krithi, the film's cast includes actors like Rahul Ramakrishna and Vennela Kishore, among others. Prawin Pudi is the editor, while cinematography is co-helmed by Gnana Shekar VS and Vishnu Sarma.
