Anil Viswanath, the director of Maa Oori Polimera and Maa Oori Polimera 2, had announced Polimera 3, the third part of his horror-thriller franchise, around two weeks ago. However, the film now finds itself embroiled in a controversy, with Maa Oori Polimera 2 producer Gowari Krishna filing a complaint against distributor-turned-producer Vamshi Nandipati who is the co-producer for Polimera 3.

In a letter addressed to producer Dil Raju, the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, Gowari Krishna, officially stated that despite being granted distribution rights for two states on a refundable advance basis, Vamshi Nandhipati failed to provide an account statement of the film’s earnings. The Polimera 2 producer also accused Vamshi Nandipati of misusing blank cheques, signed letters, and blank bond papers that were signed by Gowari.

Gowari Krishna also stated that Vamshi had announced Polimera 3 without Gowari’s consent, hence unlawfully using the former’s content for the purpose.

Gowari Krishna concluded the letter, urging the Telugu Film Chamber to take immediate action with regards to providing account statement of Polimera 2 business, returning of signed documentation, and ceasing the unlawful use of content of Polimera 2.
