We had earlier announced that Nani's 31st film Saripodha Sanivaram had wrapped its first schedule. Now, the makers have shared an update stating that SJ Suryah has joined the sets of the upcoming film which also stars Priyanka Mohan in a key role.

While DVV Entertainment, which is bankrolling the film shared the update, SJ Suryah also registered his excitement on joining the shoot. It is to be noted that the actor was last seen in director Karthik Subbaraj's Jigarthanda Double X which was released last year.

If the title glimpse is any indication of how the story is going to go, Saripodha Sanivaram will be a superhero tale where the titular protagonist is seen gaining powers on one day of the week.

Saripodha Sanivaram is Vivek Athreya's fourth feature film. Saripodha Sanivaram also marks his maiden film in the action genre. Vivek has previously directed Mental Madhilo (2017), a romantic comedy,   Brochevaruevarura (2019), a crime comedy and Ante Sundaraniki (2022), a romantic drama. Saripodha Sanivaram is Vivek's second collaboration with Nani, the actor-director duo has previously worked together in Ante Sundaraniki. 

Saripodha Sanivaram is produced by DVV Danayya under the DVV Entertainments banner. Jakes Bejoy has composed the film's music. The film's core technical collaborators include Murali G (cinematography), Karthika Srinivas R (editing) and GM Sekhar (production design).
