The makers of Allari Naresh’s upcoming film Bachhala Malli released their official trailer a grand ceremony on Saturday. Among others, Nani attended the event and extended his wishes to Allari Naresh and the entire team. The upcoming film is produced by Razesh Danda and Balaji Gutta under the banner of Hasya movies, who have previously bankrolled movies like Samajavaragamana and Ooru Peru Bhairavakona.

The teaser unravels from the perspective of an ageing cop who talks about the film’s protagonist (Naresh) and his many flaws and vices. After falling in love, however, the protagonist makes a fresh start in life for the sake of his beloved, leaving behind all his vices. And yet, there are many more barriers, in the form of his beloved’s family and societal prejudice, that he has to overcome before he gets a fair chance to redeem himself and the two can enter into a marital union. 

Bachhala Malli promises to show Allari Naresh in a very unconventional avatar, and a different genre as compared to his other popular films where the actor gained popularity for his comic chops. 

Directed by Subbu Mangadevvi, the film stars Amritha Iyer as the female lead and veterans like Rohini and Rao Ramesh in the supporting cast. Vishal Chandrashekhar has composed music for the film. Richard M. Nathan handles cinematography, and Chota K. Prasad helms the editing. The film is releasing worldwide on December 20.

Allari Naresh was last seen in the comedy-drama Aa Okkati Adakku, which released in May this year.
