The makers of Vedhika starrer Fear released their film’s trailer on Monday, a few days ahead of their film’s release. R Madhavan launched the trailer on social media.

Written and directed by Dr Haritha Gogineni, Fear promises to be an intriguing horror-thriller, blending the themes of supernatural, childhood trauma and mental disorders. Vedhika plays a young woman who begins to fear that there is an unidentified presence in the house, a belief that slowly leads her towards a deteriorated mental condition. 

Actors like Arvind Krishna, Anish Kuruvilla, Sahithi Dasari and JP (Jayaprakash) will be seen playing significant roles in the film. On the technical front, I Andrew is the cinematographer while director Haritha herself is in charge of the editing. Anup Rubens is the music director, and Krishnakanth has penned the lyrics. 

While Fear was initially mounted as a pan-India release, Haritha Gogineni clarified a few days ago that the horror-thriller will first be released only in Telugu, followed by other language releases a few weeks later. Fear is produced by Dr Vanki Penchalayya and AR Abhi under the banner of Dattatreya Media, while Sujatha Reddy serves as the co-producer. The film will hit theatres on December 14.
