OG is an upcoming gangster-entertainer that stars Pawan Kalyan, Priyanka Arul Mohan and Emraan Hashmi. Helmed by director Sujeeth, of Saaho and Run Raja Run fame, the film is one of the most highly anticipated star-led projects of 2024. Although earlier scheduled for a September 27 release, the film has been postponed owing to actor Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments. Producer of the film, DVV Danayya recently confirmed at a press interaction of his upcoming Nani-starrer Saripodhaa Sanivaaram that a special teaser of OG will be out on Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, September 2. 

OG is said to be a crime-thriller that revolves around Pawan Kalyan’s character, Ojas Gambheera, a gangster in exile who returns to Mumbai for an important mission. Makers of the film released a glimpse on the same date of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday last year titled “Hungry Cheetah” which garnered enormous praise and acclaim from general audiences and fans of the star. 

OG has energetic music by SS Thaman, cinematography by Ravi K Chandran and production design by A S Prakash. The film is tentatively pushed for a release in 2025 and the makers are expected to announce a release date with the upcoming teaser.
