Parakramam trailer: A theatre artist’s philosophical journey of cricket, crime and love

Parakramam, the upcoming action-drama, directed by Bandi Saroj Kumar is set to hit the screens on August 22. The makers unveiled the theatrical trailer for the film on Wednesday. The trailer depicts Lova Raju, played by Bandi Saroj Kumar, as a gully cricketer and theatre artist who aspires to become a hero. The film is set to ride heavily on dialogue and performances with philosophical layers.

The film is a passion project of Bandi Saroj Kumar, who started as an indie filmmaker and producer with titles like Nirbandam 1 (2021), Nirbandam 2 (2022), Sironcha (2022). Bandi Saroj Kumar is also the primary technician for the film, who has multi-tasked as the writer, director, editor, lyricist, music composer and producer.

Parakramam also stars Sruthi Samanvi, Naga Lakshmi, Mohan Senapati, Kireeti, Anil Kumar, Vamsiraj Nekkanti and Nikhil Gopu. The cinematography is handled by Venkat R Prasad, sound design by Kali SR Ashok, and fights by Ramu Perumala.
