Pushpa 2: The Rule has been one of the most awaited Telugu movies of the year. On Tuesday, the makers of the Allu Arjun starrer shared an update about their film’s teaser. Pushpa 2: The Rule teaser will be officially released on Monday, April 8.

Taking to their social media page, the film’s production banner Mythri Movie Makers posted, “Let the Pushpa Mass Jaathara begin. The Most Awaited Pushpa2 The Rule Teaser out on April 8th. He is coming with double the fire.”

Pushpa 2: The Rule, which is an official sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa The Rise, also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. The film is written and directed by Sukumar. 

Devi Sri Prasad, who composed the superhit soundtrack for Pushpa: The Rise, is the music director for the sequel as well. The cinematography is by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and the editing by Karthika Srinivas and Ruben.

Produced by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni, Pushpa 2: The Rule is set for a theatrical release on August 15.

Pushpa: The Rise, which released in December 2021, emerged as a massive success at box office despite releasing amid the pandemic. At the National Film Awards that were announced in August 2023, Allu Arjun was conferred with the Best Actor award for his performance in the film.
