After a series of crucial cast and crew announcements over the weekend, the makers of Nani 31 unveiled the title of their film through a glimpse video on Monday.

Christened Saripodha Sanivaram (Isn't Saturday enough?),the first glimpse video is called unchained and rightfully so. The video starts with Nani in an abandoned godown, tied up in chains, while a voiceover (by actor Sai Kumar) begins. He talks about how the concept of every dog having its day has endured the test of time. And then the voiceover asks, what if a person got that proverbial day every week? And what if that day was a Saturday? As this voiceover lays down the film's premise, we see Nani unshackling himself and emerging out of the warehouse to the sounds of thunderstorms and rousing background music, while people outside the warehouse look at him.

With Saripodha Sanivaram, Vivek Athreya is making his maiden action film. The director has previously helmed the romantic comedy Mental Madhilo (2017), the crime comedy Brochevaruevarura (2019) and the romantic dramedy Ante Sundaraniki (2022).

Priyanka Mohan is the female lead of the film, while SJ Suryah is also set to appear in a crucial role. Saripodha Sanivaram is produced by DVV Entertainments. Jakes Bejoy is the music director of the film, with cinematography by Murali G, editing by Karthika Srinivas R and production design by GM Sekhar. The film's muhurtham pooja is scheduled to take place on Tuesday.
