The title of Mahesh Babu's upcoming Telugu film, tentatively called SSMB28, will be unveiled on May 31, the makers of the film announced on social media. The film is helmed by Trivikram Srinivas.

Backed by S Radhakrishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations banner, the upcoming film will mark the third collaboration of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas after Athadu and Khaleja.

The film has Pooja Hegde as the female lead and is billed as a family-action entertainer. Sree Leela will play a prominent role in the film. Trivikram has also penned the script. SSMB28 will be edited by national award-winning technician Navin Nooli, while the team also comprises art director AS Prakash, music director S Thaman and cinematographer PS Vinod.

SSMB28 is set for a theatrical release on January 13, 2024. Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu was last seen in Sarkaru Vaari Paata which was helmed by Parasuram.
