Fahadh Faasil says there is scope for Pushpa 3

Pushpa 2: The Rule is currently slated to release by the end of 2022

Fahadh Faasil talked about the world of Pushpa having enough scope for a 3rd instalment in the franchise. The actor who played the antagonist in Pushpa: The Rise, opened up about the Telugu action blockbuster in an interview promoting his Malayalam film Malayankunju

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise, directed by Sukumar, was released in December 2021 and went on to become a pan-Indian success. After emerging victorious as the highest-grossing film in 2021, it was confirmed for a sequel titled Pushpa: The Rule.

The actor went on to talk about how director Sukumar has enough material to work on Pushpa 3 since he had initially worked on a documentary about red sandalwood smuggling for Netflix. The Pushpa sequel is currently under production with Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil returning to their respective roles. 

Fahadh Faasil is currently shooting his portions for the Pushpa sequel while also working on Mari Selvaraj’s Maamannan. Pushpa 2: The Rule is currently slated to release by the end of 2022.
