Filmmaker SS Rajamouli's RRR has been nominated for Golden Globe Award 2023. Actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan-starrer gained two nominations-- in the Best Non-English Language Film category and for the Best Original Song, Motion Picture category (Naatu Naatu).

Overwhelmed by this milestone, Rajamouli extended gratitude to those who made this possible. He wrote, "Thanks to the jury at Golden Globe for nominating RRR movie in two categories. Congratulations to the entire team…Thanks to all the fans and audience for your unconditional love and support throughout."

Jr NTR also took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "Delighted that RRR movie has been nominated in two categories at the Golden Globe Awards! Congratulations to all of us... Looking forward."

Meanwhile, it may be noted that RRR has been submitted independently for consideration in multiple categories at the Academy Awards.  RRR is a fictional story that revolves around two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR), and their fight against the British Raj.
