Actor Mahesh Babu is set to begin the shooting for his next film, SSMB 28, in November. Billed to be an action-packed family drama, the film is being directed by Trivikram Srinivas and also features Pooja Hegde as the leading lady.
"Mahesh gave bulk dates from November and Trivikram is working on the shooting schedules at the moment. They are planning to wrap up entire proceedings by March-April and release the film in July," informs a source from the production unit.
Speculations were rife that Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty is being considered for a prominent role in the film. SSMB 28 marks the third time collaboration between Mahesh and Trivikram after Athadu (2005) and Khaleja (2010).
Bankrolled by S Radha Krishna, SSMB 28 will have music by SS Thaman.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu will next be seen in Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Trivikram is providing the screenplay and dialogues for Pawan Kalyan-starrer Bheemla Nayak.
