Rajinikanth's Dharman has been progressing through its schedules at a brisk pace, with the film currently in the midst of another shooting block. The project has already moved through Chennai and Hyderabad during its production, while director Ashwath Marimuthu has been sharing occasional glimpses from the sets.

The third schedule is currently underway, and the team will head to Mysuru for the fourth schedule after completing the ongoing Chennai shoot, Ashwath Marimuthu revealed at the pre-release event of Ashok Selvan's Anbil Avan. The Mysuru schedule is expected to continue for around 10 days.

Giving an update on the film's progress, Ashwath said, “The third schedule of Dharman is on. We will then be leaving for Mysuru for the next schedule. It will go on for another 10 days.” He also said that the team was on track and that Rajinikanth was happy with both the pace and quality of the shoot.

Ashwath also spoke about his experience of working with Rajinikanth, admitting that he was initially “very scared” about collaborating with the veteran actor. However, he said that he has now become comfortable working with him and credited Rajinikanth's work ethic and enthusiasm for making the experience easier. The director compared the Superstar's energy on set to that of a child, despite his five decades in the industry.

Dharman, Rajinikanth's 173rd film, marks his collaboration with Ashwath Marimuthu and is backed by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran, with S Disney as co-producer. The film also stars Simran and Raashi Khanna in important roles. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, while Niketh Bommi handles cinematography, and Pradeep E Raghav is the editor. Anbariv is overseeing the action choreography.

Rajinikanth plays a doctor in the film, which is expected to combine action and elements of a medical setting. The makers are yet to announce a release date.
