Actor Suriya has shared his thoughts on manifestation and the power of positive thinking at the Dubai pre-release event of his upcoming Tamil film Scene, urging fans to believe in themselves and the possibilities they wish to create in their lives. The actor also revealed that his collaboration with filmmaker Jithu Madhavan was something he had quietly wished for before it became a reality.

Addressing fans at the event, Suriya shared a dialogue from the film that he felt would resonate with audiences. “You are the best, and you can do anything,” he said, adding that viewers would understand its significance when they watch the film. He went on to explain why the words held a deeper meaning for him, saying he believed in manifestation.

Suriya recalled how he had hoped to work with Jithu, whose films Romancham and Aavesham he admired. Having expressed his wish to collaborate with the filmmaker, the actor said he was delighted when the opportunity eventually came his way. He described the experience as an example of how something one genuinely wishes for can become a reality.

Explaining his belief in manifestation, Suriya drew a parallel with social media algorithms. He pointed out that when people watch videos about a particular subject or begin thinking about buying something, they tend to encounter more content related to it. He suggested that life could work in a similar way, with the things people repeatedly focus on influencing their thoughts and actions.

“Whatever you repeatedly focus on becomes more present in your thoughts and actions,” was the essence of his message to the audience. He encouraged fans to nurture positive thoughts, think about what they genuinely want to achieve and take steps towards making those aspirations a reality.

Suriya also spoke warmly about his relationship with his fans, saying he sees them as one family. He emphasised that the love he receives from audiences continues to inspire him, and urged them to believe in their own potential.

The Dubai event was held ahead of the release of Scene, which brings Suriya together with Jithu Madhavan for the filmmaker's Tamil cinema debut. The film also stars Nazriya and Naslen, with the latter making his Tamil debut. The film is set to open in theatres on November 6.
