TN CM Vijay meets with representatives from TFPC, TFAPA

Post his win at the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections, Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, was called on by the representatives of the Tamil Film Producers Council and the Tamil Film Active Producers Association

After assuming the position of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, after winning the recently concluded assembly elections, C Joseph Vijay, has been meeting various representatives across various industrial fields. Representatives and members of the Tamil film industry have also called upon the Chief Minister to meet with him and convey their regards. Now, representatives of the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) and the Tamil Film Active Producers Association (TFAPA) have met with the CM.

In a statement on the official social media handle of the CM's office, it was announced that, "Honourable Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru C Joseph Vijay was met today at the Secretariat by the President of the Tamil Film Active Producers Association, Thiru TG Thiagarajan, General Secretary Thiru D Siva, Treasurer Thiru G Dhananjeyan, Deputy Chairmen Thiru SR Prabu, Thiru SS Lalith Kumar, Joint Secretaries Thiru Mukesh R Mehta and Thiru S Vinoth Kumar, along with the executives, met and presented a cheque for Rs 10 lakh to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund."

Meanwhile, the secretary of the TFPC, Kathiresan, took to social media and wrote, "Met Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru Vijay sir, and presented our requests on behalf of the Tamil Film Producers. Sir assured us that he would consider them and take the necessary steps to fulfill our requests."

Earlier, actor and Member of Parliament Kamal Haasan, met with CM Vijay, and presented him with a list of requests on behalf of the film industry.
