Prabhu Deva-Vadivelu's Bang Bang wraps production

There has been a dearth in updates from the makers of Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu's upcoming film Bang Bang after the announcement of the title early this year. On Thursday, it was announced that the film had wrapped filming. The film also stars Babloo Prithveeraj in a prominent role.

Marking the first collaboration between Vadivelu and Prabhu Deva after 25 years, Bang Bang is written and directed by Sam Rodrigues. Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu have shared screen space in films like Kadhalan, Engal Anna, Kaathala Kaathala, Mr Romeo, Love Birds, and Raasaiyya. Vadivelu has starred in films like Pokkiri and Villu, both of which were directed by Prabhu Deva.

KRG Kannan Ravi is producing the film, with Deepak Ravi serving as the co-producer. The technical crew comprises music composer Sam Rodrigues, cinematographer HC Venu, editor Anthony, and dialogues by Vignesh Jeyapal.

Prabhu Deva, last seen in Badass Ravi Kumar, also has Moonwalk, Kathanar – The Wild Sorcerer, Musasi, and Maharagni: Queen of Queens in the pipeline. Meanwhile, Vadivelu last appeared in Maareesan (2025), along with Fahadh Faasil.
