Actor-politician Vijay went to the residence of late producer RB Choudhury and paid his respects. RB Choudhary, who has produced 98 films across five languages, passed away on May 6, at the age of 76.

Under his Super Good Films banner, RB Choudhary has backed multiple films starring Vijay, including the latter's breakout in Poove Unakkaga (1996). Under the Super Good Films, films like Love Today (1997), Shahjahan (2001), Thirupaachi (2005), and Jilla (2014), featured Vijay in the lead role.

Vijay has also starred alongside RB Choudhary's son, actor Jiiva, in Shankar's Nanban (2012). The film which is a remake of Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots (2009), featured Vijay in Aamir Khan's role and Jiiva in Sharman Joshi's role.

RB Choudhary passed away due to a car accident in Udaipur, Rajasthan. He is survived by Mahjabeen, and four sons.
