Earlier this Sunday, multiple reports surfaced on the internet saying that a non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued against Prakash Raj as he allegedly obtained four voter identity cards in one name. According to the reports, the Bangalore Magistrate Court issued the warrant against Prakash after Dilip Kumar filed a case against him accusing that the actor has four voter ID cards.
Reports also say that a Non-Bailable Warrant was issued twice against the actor, and despite this, he did not appear at the court. Subsequently, the court has allegedly issued another non-bailable arrest warrant.
However, Prakash Raj dismissed the reports about him through social media. Taking to X, the actor shared an image with headlines about the alleged warrant against him and said that people who have sold themselves out are busy fabricating fake news about him and that they must be suffering a lot to do so.
"Sold out fellows..Cooking up fake news and spreading them.. Must have been badly hurt .. But I am happy I have kept them busy," Prakash said sarcastically, thus dismissing the reports.
The latest reports have come hot on the heels of Prakash's alleged involvement in the Dharmasthala mass burial case. Recently, the actor denied the connections between him and Chinnaiah, the man who made claims of murders and mass burials in Dharmasthala. Prakash admitted that he received a call from the man, but the actor said that he recorded their conversation and sent the recording to the main investigator in the case. The clarification followed Chinnaiah's writ petition filed at the Karnataka High Court, where he mentioned Prakash's name. In the petition, he sought a direction from the court to the Special Investigation Team to file their last report in this case.
On the work front, Prakash Raj's upcoming films include Jana Nayagan with Vijay, Drishyam 3 with Ajay Devgn, and Spirit with Prabhas, among others.
