On Sunday, actor Shalini, wife of actor-racer Ajith Kumar, shared photos from their recent trip to France. The couple are in France along with their children for Ajith's recent racing competition, The Michelin Le Mans Cup, the premiere of which took place at the Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans in Le Mans, France.

In the photos, Shalini was seen posing in a garden along with Ajith Kumar, her son Aadvik, and her daughter Anoushka. Apart from their couple photo, she also shared family photos featuring all four of them. Ajith Kumar was seen sporting his racing jersey in the pictures. Shalini captioned the post, "A little bit of France, a whole lot of love."

The photos come shortly after the Ajith Kumar Racing handle gave us an update on their latest race. The team called their race at Le Mans an amazing experience and highlighted the strong performance despite competing in a crowded field of 62 cars. Marking the first appearance of an Indian team at Le Mans, the team secured a top-10 finish on debut, with Car 36 finishing 13th overall and Car 16 taking ninth place in its class.

The race and photos come 15 days after the demise of Ajith Kumar's mother, Mohini Mani. She passed away because of age-related illnesses. She was 89 years old at the time of death.

On the work front, Ajith was last seen in Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly, which was released earlier last year. The film also starred Trisha, Arjun Das, Sunil, Prabhu, Prasanna, Karthikeya Dev, Priya Prakash Varrier, Jackie Shroff, Shine Tom Chacko, Tinnu Anand, BS Avinash and Raghu Ram. As reported earlier, he will join hands once again with the filmmaker for AK64, which is yet to go on floors.

Meanwhile, the actor's racing endeavours are set to be made into a feature-length film, directed by Vijay. Titled Gladiators, it is set to showcase how he, along with his team, overcame major challenges and secured podium finishes in leading championships.
