The makers of Slum Dog 33 Temple Road revealed earlier this Friday that the teaser for the film will be out at 6:00 pm on June 08, Monday. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. In the teaser announcement caption, the makers wrote, "Raw streets. Real scars. Ruthless emotions. Unfolding the world of Slum Dog 33 Temple Road with a striking teaser on June 8th at 6 pm."

The film also stars Tabu, Landlord actor Vijay Kumar, Brahmaji, VTV Ganesh, and Samyuktha. Vijay Kumar stars as its antagonist, whereas Samyuktha stars in the female lead role. The film is produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur through the Puri Connects banner, in association with JB Narayana Rao Kondrolla of JB Motion Pictures.

On the technical front, Slum Dog has National Award-winning composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar.

The makers are yet to reveal the rest of the cast and crew members or plot specifics. Production on the film has been wrapped. It brings Vijay Sethupathi back to Telugu cinema for the first time after 2023's Michael, co-starring Sundeep Kishan and Divyansha Kaushik, among others. For Tabu, meanwhile, it marks her comeback to the industry after 2020's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, starring Allu Arjun.

It is expected to be Puri Jagannadh's first release since 2024's Double iSmart. Reportedly, Puri Jagannadh is overseeing background music recording sessions with composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar for the film. The film is expected to release in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam as well.

Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming films also include the long-delayed Train with Mysskin and Arasan with Vetri Maaran. The actor also has a cameo in Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth in the lead role.
