The makers of the upcoming film Slum Dog 33 Temple Road, directed by Puri Jagannadh, have revealed that the film has entered post-production and that the work is progressing at a brisk pace.

The film marks an important milestone for Vijay Sethupathi, who is making his debut as a lead actor in a straight Telugu film. Samyuktha is playing the female lead alongside Vijay.

Slum Dog 33 Temple Road is produced under the Puri Connects banner by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur, in association with JB Motion Pictures’s JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla.

With shooting already wrapped up, the film is now undergoing post-production and re-recording work. National Award-winning music composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar, who earned acclaim for his work in films like Arjun Reddy and Animal, is composing the music for the upcomng film.

According to the makers, Puri Jagannadh is personally supervising the background score sessions along with the composer in the recording studio. A recently released picture from the studio has further increased curiosity surrounding the project.

Known for his trademark style of intense emotions, raw action, and powerful characterisations, Puri Jagannadh is expected to present Vijay Sethupathi in a completely new light. The makers believe the music and background score will play a major role in elevating the film’s emotional and action-packed moments.

The film also features Tabu in a pivotal role. Actors Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh will be seen in comedic roles.

The makers are planning a multilingual release for the film across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
