Sai Abhyankkar shares update on new indepenent single

Sai Abhyankkar began his journey in music with independent singles, before working on films

While Sai Abhyankkar's career in cinema is progressing ahead with full steam, the singer-music composer continues to mark his stamp in the independent music arena.

Just two months after his well regarded independent single, 'Pavazha Malli', his second Tamil film soundtrack for Suriya-RJ Balaji's Karuppu, gained widespread appreciation.

Recently, when a social media user asked him when his next independent single would release, the composer simply replied by writing, "July."

While Sai Abhyankkar put out a single, titled 'Valam Valaravendum' in 2023, he became well known for his 2024 single, 'Katchi Sera'. The singer later released tracks such as 'Aasa Kooda', 'Sithira Puthiri', and 'Vizhi Veekura', with 'Pavazha Malli' being the latest.

On the cinematic front, Sai made his debut with the Malayalam film, Balti (2025). In Tamil his debut was Dude (2025), with Karuppu being his sophomore Tamil work. His upcoming film projects include Bakkiyaraj Kannan's Benz, Tamizh's Marshal, and Atlee's Raaka.
