Gatta Kusthi 2: Vishnuu Vishal completes crucial work as film moves closer to release

Raja With just a month to go for the release of Gatta Kusthi 2, Vishnuu Vishal has completed dubbing for his portions of the film, clearing a major milestone for the sequel, which he co-produces under his Vishnu Vishal Studioz banner along with Ishari K Ganesh's Vels Film International.

As reported earlier, the film will see the return of Vishnuu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi as Veera and Keerthi. Kaali Venkat who plays Sattam, Karunaas who plays Vishnuu Vishal's 'Mama' and Munishkanth who portrays his 'Chitappa' (uncle) are once again playing key roles in the story along with Lizie Antony, Gajaraj and Sreeja Ravi as family members - Athai, Appa and Amma, respectively.

Ramya Krishnan and Yogi Babu have joined the cast as Raja Rajeshwari and Balbir Singh. Karunakaran, Mokksha and child actor Zara Zyanna are also part of the film's sequel.

The second installment is expected to pick up from the first part's climax, which has Veera (Vishnuu Vishal) and his wrestler wife Keerthi (Aishwarya Lekshmi) become parents to a daughter after the latter wins a wrestling match. However, plot details have been kept under wraps for now.

Gatta Kusthi 2 comprises a fresh technical team from its predecessor. Music composer Sean Roldan, Cinematographer Bhaskaran KM, editor Barath Vikraman, and art director Jayachandran S are a part of the film.

Gatta Kusthi 2 is scheduled to release in theatres on July 3.
