Pari Elavazhagan, who made his directorial debut with 2024's Jama, is coming back with his second film, titled Anbe Diana. The film also stars Pari Elavazhagan in the lead role, opposite Ramya Ranganathan. It is produced by Million Dollar Studios in association with Neo Castle Creations and Era Entertainment. Earlier this Saturday, the makers dropped the Anbe Diana trailer on YouTube.

Sharing a link to the trailer on social media, producer Yuvaraj Ganesan of Million Dollar Studios wrote, "Every film begins with a dream. With Anbe Diana, our dream was simple to tell a story you can watch with your family, laugh together, and carry home with a smile. As we share our trailer today, we’d like to make you one promise. Anbe Diana is a sensible, heartfelt family entertainer made with honesty and love. We hope you give us those two hours."

It is worth noting that Million Dollar Studios previously backed critically acclaimed and commercially successful films such as Good Night, Lover, and Tourist Family. With Anbe Diana, they promise to deliver another entertaining film featuring socially relevant themes.

The upcoming film stars Pari Elavazhagan as a happy-go-lucky youngster who gets into a romantic relationship with an Anglo-Indian woman (Ramya Ranganathan). The trailer suggests that Pari Elavazhagan and Ramya's characters are caught between two families whose elders force them to convert their religion. His mother wants him to convert the Christian girl into a Hindu, whereas her father wants him to become a Christian for the marriage. Consequently, we see visuals of the couple doing rituals in both religions in the Anbe Diana trailer.

The upcoming film also stars Roja Selvamani, Chetan, and Parithabangal Gopi, among others. It is slated for a July 17 release in theatres. Meanwhile, here is a link to the trailer:
