Bhavani Sre, last seen in Viduthalai Part 2, is all set to be seen alongside an ensemble cast in Hot Spot 2 Much. Helmed by Vignesh Karthick, the film also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Ashwin Kumar, Adithya Bhaskar, MS Bhaskar, Thambi Ramaiah, Brigida Saga, Sanjana Tiwari and Rakshan, among others.

Speaking about working on the film, she said, as per a press note, “After being part of intense, series-driven films, Hot Spot 2 Much came as a delightful change for me. It is quirky, fun, and light-hearted, exploring Gen Z’s modern relationships with a touch of fantasy, which makes the narrative truly refreshing. I have long admired director Vignesh Karthik’s work, from Thittam Irandu to the first part of Hot Spot, which stood out for its bold and out-of-the-box storytelling. When he invited me to be a part of Hot Spot 2 Much, I was absolutely thrilled. Working alongside Ashwin was equally rewarding, and I’m eagerly looking forward to the worldwide release. I hope to continue embracing more innovative and diverse stories in the future.”

Hot Spot 2 Much is the sequel to Hot Spot, which was also helmed by Vignesh Karthick. The upcoming film is presented by Vishnu Vishal under his Vishnu Vishal Studioz banner. KJ Balamanimarbhan and Aneel K Reddy produced the film, with C Suresh Kumar and Indu Kumar M serving as co-producers. KJB Talkies and Ants to Elephants are the banners backing the film. KV Durai serves as a creative producer.

Sathish Ragunathan is composing music for Hot Spot 2 Much. The crew of the film also consists of Jagadeesh Ravi and Joseph Paul as the directors of photography, Muthayan U as the editor, and C Shanmugam as the art director. The film is set to hit theatres on January 23.
