Sivakarthikeyan reveals Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan's Parasakthi reviews

The actor spoke about the film at a recent press event

Actor Sivakarthikeyan talked about the words of appreciation he received for his film Parasakthi from Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. Speaking at a press event for the film, the actor said that Kamal spoke to him about the film for five minutes. "It is hard to please Kamal Haasan sir. He did not speak to me that much even about Amaran," the actor revealed, referring to the Army drama that Kamal produced under his Raaj Kamal Films International banner. "He said 'let everyone in your team know that it is an amazing film,'" Sivakarthikeyan said about Kamal's remark to him after the screening of Parasakthi, directed by Sudha Kongara.

On the other hand, the actor disclosed that Rajinikanth called him personally and appreciated the film. "He called it a 'very bold movie' with a 'superb second half'. He also said, 'You have performed fantastically in the film,'" Sivakarthikeyan revealed about the conversation between him and Rajinikanth.

He expressed his gratitude to everyone from the film industry who called him and congratulated him on the film. Sudha Kongara's film follows a youngster who leads a revolution against Hindi imposition. The film also stars Ravi Mohan as the antagonist, Sreeleela, Atharvaa, and Chetan, among others.

So far, the film has grossed a net collection of around 27 crore from theatres in India, according to data from the industry tracker Sacnilk. It has also grossed over 50 crore at the global box office, the tracker reports.
